june and july consisted of me donking off my bankroll at stakes i'm not rolled for, and live tilt.

august goals.

75 hours in 2.5 weeks @ 400nl (this is huge for me, I've never ever put in a month this big, ever)
put 7k aside for tuition, keep the rest for rebuilding
play 5-9 tables depending on concentration, mood, instantaneous playing ability
>>>>>>> DO NOT TAKE SHOTS AT 5/10 UNTIL SEPTEMBER <<<<<<<

challenges.
be rolled for 5/10nl live by september (15k-20k is plenty)

expectations. meh, whatever.

Goals:

1) Play 15K hands at 200NL.

2) Win 8BB/100 at that 15K.

Challenges:

1) Muster the discipline, when tired, sick of work, and looking for wild fun, NOT to jump into the Stars $3 rebuy and play the RB period like a maniac just to relish in the insults of rocks with $125 lifetime winnings who play like their initial buyin is the last of their roll. Not that ticking off rocks isn't fun and important, but it dramatically my long term hourly rate.

2) Stop calling big postflop bets so damn much. They're not bluffs often enough to be profitable. They're not bluffs often enough to be profitable. They're not bluffs often enough to be profitable.

i'm not looking to win when i play micro omaha :P

good game to tilt on though. can't get all in preflop without help, and even if you do, you're like a 55/45 dog vs AAxx.

August.

1) Start playing again.
2) Pwn everyone within sight with my awesome new heater thats about to start (downswings be damned)
3) Play smarter - not just more. Quality not Quantity - play only when I am awake, when I have my head firing on all neurons, make sure I am far and away the best player at every table I sit down at.
4) More study - less mindless grinding
5) Double my bankroll by the end of August and start playing $100NL where I belong instead of messing about in the smaller limits playing like a muppet making no headway
6) Make enough monies this month so I can cash out enough for a nice shiny 20" monitor and teach myself to 4 table effectively by the end of September.

I'm back and the only way from here is UP!

(speculative goal by Christmas this year make enough monies to graduate to $200NL and buy myself a shiny new car.)

If you're tired and sick of work, and you probably shouldn't be playing 1/2 anyway, why not blow off some steam by donking it up? Sounds like fun to me
