hence why I said I don't like winrate as a stat

[/ QUOTE ]

but win rate is really the only thing that really matters when all is said and done if we're playing this game to make money

[/ QUOTE ]

ummm, winrate would be the last thing that matters if you're playing to make money

nicky, no its not

hourly rate is far more important, running hot at higher limits is more important, etc. etc. winrate means squat, why do you think goofy's is like 20 ?

Ok, isn't WR directly tied to hourly? I mean, seriously, what am I missing here?

player A one tables $200nl and makes 9 ptbb/100 and plays 10 hours/week

player B 40 tables $200nl, makes 3 ptbb/100 and plays 30 hours/week

player A posts screenshots saying how sick he is and to check out his winrate

player B buys an island

Player C is FGators, "wins" for -0.25ptbb/100 12tabling 80 hours/week. losing money.

saying winrate doesn't matter at all is pretty stupid. profit is a combination of quality and quantity.

p.s. i don't actually know anything about fgators winrate

nuggetz,

i was exaggerating when i said winrate was the last thing that mattered. everytime i take off a bit from checking out the ssnl forum and come back , the first thing you see is a thread with a bunch of people saying everything is impossible, when they should be focusing on getting better.

Ive only read the last 4 posts...wth?? 8ptbb+/100 is definitely attainable at 200

[/ QUOTE ]

[/ QUOTE ]

id like to see a screenshot of that. for anyone winning over 5ptbb/100 over a significant number of hands, can you toss up a screenshot please. ty

[/ QUOTE ]

This isn't a significant sample to say for sure I'm above a 5ptbb winner, and I hope I never get enough hands to say for sure that I am. 8ptbb might be attainable (and I'd say that's about the max w/o a super account) but anybody who could make make that much would never spend more than 50k hands at 1/2 probably.
