You have to mention Harry Chapin in a thread about musical stories. Cat's in the Cradle being the obvious choice but Taxi is probably his best.
Honorable mention would be Alice's Restuarant although that's more of a story then a song. |

"Hannibal" by Miles Davis on "Live Around the World" CD was his final performance only a couple weeks before he died. Song sounds a bit eerie and ominous, sort of like Miles knew his time was just about up.
