Re: Rank \'em CFB week 6
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] I'm going to say it every weak until they lose. Hawaii is underranked. [/ QUOTE ] This is a team that went to overtime against Louisiana Tech, if anything I'd have them as overranked. [/ QUOTE ] Oklahoma lost by 3 to Col. USC lost to Stanford. You're talking about a game they won after traveling 6k miles to get to the game. If we can forgive OU and USC their losses, can't we forgive UH their wins? |

I'm going to say it every weak until they lose. Hawaii is underranked. [/ QUOTE ] Intentional spelling pun? Because that's what Hawaii's schedule is... Northern Colorado W 63-6 @Louisiana Tech W 45-44 OT @UNLV W 49-10 Charleston Southern W 66-10 @Idaho W 48-20 Utah State W 52-37 The 1-A teams on this list are a combined 4-19, with two of those wins coming against 1-AA opponents and one also being one of the 19 losses... In other words, Hawaii's 1-A opponents have only beaten a 1-A team once (excluding a game between two of them) ALL YEAR COMBINED. Meanwhile the TWO 1-AA teams are a combined 1-5 against their OWN division (and 1-2 vs. teams from a lower division than THEM). Not only has Hawaii played two lower division teams, they weren't even GOOD ones. Seriously, this might be the most pathetic schedule I've ever seen. You aren't a top 25 team if you struggle twice with this schedule. Up next: San Jose State who is 3-3 (The wins came over two teams Hawaii has already played and a 1-AA team. This will be the best team Hawaii has played this year and they lost 37-0 to Stanford. Also 45-3 to Arizona State. Seriously, this WILL be the best team Hawaii has faced this year. They beat Idaho AND Utah State.) |

even worse is my love for 2 loss Florida who I was a hater of just 3 weeks ago... they've impressed me [/ QUOTE ] I'm glad that you posted about this MT2R. I was utterly shocked to see you impressed by UF given your well publicized hatred fo them Whatever, rankings this year are impossible. If Florida hadn't lost to Auburn (obv they did), I would probably think they're the 2nd best team in the nation despite their loss. Of course, I wouldn't rank them that way, but I would think it anyway. They play so damn well, it's hard to see how they lose sometimes.Youth, I guess. |

Re: Rank \'em CFB week 6
How are people even ranking Rutgers in the top 30? This 4 game stretch that started with cincy is most likely going to end at 1-3 and that is if they can beat Syracuse. They have 0 offensive line and Mike Teel is so unpredictable pass to pass to have any faith in him.
Only wins I see right now are @ Syracuse, @ Army, vs Pitt. Of course 2 of those are on the road which they haven't had to do yet so who knows if they can even win on the road. I don't even think they can beat UL if they play the way they have. This is not a top 30 team, you are looking at 2005 Rutgers all over again. |
