I think you played pretty well in mid-late december (2/4 6-max) when sitting with me in the same table. Definitely winning poker at that time. I havenīt seen you in january.

thanks cdecker.

one thing that is painfull obv from looking at my stats is that over the last two weeks my postflop aggression has gone down by like 50%. I think running bad has really screwed me up.

Full Tilt Poker $2/$4

Seat 1: fnord ($479.10)
Seat 2: danny28288 ($128.20)
Seat 3: mick the hoon ($174.80)
Seat 4: beset7 ($576.70)
Seat 5: Vladimirian ($276.95)
Seat 6: David Chiu ($400)

David Chiu posts the big blind of $4

danny28288 checks
beset7 bets $42 [Of course I can't tell what you have, but in general when there are 4 people seeing the flop, I think you have to tighten way way up even at 6 max and even if you think you've been playing too passively. You only put in 25% of the money and don't need to try win every pot. If I were on a really nice draw I'd check it 50% of the time. Also, against non-weak opponents, I think a 1/2 pot bet might take the pot down as frequently as a full pot sized bet. So as LaP mentioned, Id think about altering bet size and frequency here.]

I don't see anything about the rest of the hand. The river call is probably good if you have AK or AQ if not a FH and you think your opponent bluffs enough there with no ace.

I had A4 with high suited side cards, no straight draw. What do you think of flop now? probably doesn't change much. thanks for the comments.

A4 and A6 make that hand difficult to play. You probably are winning don't want them to draw to a straight. But by a same token I don't think a full sized bet is chasing them off of their hand, and when someone flopped better you are looking at a huge checkraise. To me the most important thing about that hand is that 4 people saw it. (And of course with A4 and the Ace on the river, river call is automatic and probably even +EV overall)

I personally still would lean toward playing it more passively and checking more frequently or adding in some 1/2 pot bets in addition to psbs. But you are much more aggressive postflop than I am. I know you've posted your stats before, but 22/7/7 is pretty foreign to me and I don't know how people are going to react.

Since you are so aggressive and raising only on the button and pos #1 and playing only top hands, my inclination would be if I were plaing against you to use a strategy of c/r if you are betting too much on the flops where you have position and raised pre-. By checking behind, even very occasionally when you have the nuts, will eliminate a c/r strategy from opponent's arsenal.

But sheeet, you're running well tonight on Full Tilt.

Play A4xxds more passively on an A64r board on the button after a PFR? Crap no, this hand is so standard it makes my hair hurt. And p.s. foe played terrible on every street. WTF, flop call with TPTK and two to act after the PFR's near-pot-sized c-bet. And p.p.s. hand review is a lot more fun in the low-content thread.

Yeah, but if you play standard, your balls are going to hurt.

sick, that was a dream turn for the villain

My advice: Don't let the dealer deal turns like that.

You're welcome.
