The "low early DI numbers" theory was true this week, but not other weeks. Last week, Gina and Haley were both lower than Alaina in the early going. In T24 week, Alaina and Leslie were the lowest in the early going, but Amy and Nicole left.

Fact is, you can make different "rules" every week about how to use DI, simply retrofitting to fit the data. But it's more coincidence than anything else. With all the different ways to interpret the data, and only a small pool of contestants who are in danger, then there are bound to be certain "rules" that fit.

But generally speaking, DI is not useful right now. Perhaps in the mid-rounds of the finals.

Sanjaya sucks and should have lost. Has all of the prison vote behind him.

Sabrina gone. I hate it. The sexiest chick in the competition.

I read in the paper today that Antonella has been offered 250K by Joe Francis of Girls Gone Wild to host one of their videos. Also, Hugh Hefner wants her in Playboy.

Also, it was on Inside Edition tonight that Sundance's family home in Texas burned down last night and one of his relatives was killed.

Soflat,
You shouldn't leave because someone made ONE innocuous comment about you trolling. However, since it was brought up, you have shown yourself to have rather bad taste in music. Actually that may be a little too strong - you seem to appreciate a simple (read: boring) pop sound over talented and complex singing. Melinda and Lakisha aren't SHOUTING (well Lakisha sometimes), they are just singing at a higher volume; when they hit the right notes and add some emotion to the performance, it just sounds good to most people. If you don't like it then you don't like it but if you were saying who the best singers are both technically and from a performance standpoint, it is easily Melinda and Lakisha, with Jordin and Stephanie being behind.

That being said I wouldn't be surprised if Gina made some noise in the Top 12. Haley is dead in the water, though.

Oh also you post in an amicable fashion so I don't think you should be driven away. Anyway let's not have any drama, there are only like 15 regular posters in this forum.

I wonder if Antonella had a large amount of "illegal" votes that needed to be thrown out, more than 5 phone calls from the same person etc, thus throwing off dialidol.

soflat,

I apologize for my troll comment. With that said, it's a common accusation on 2+2 (even if it isn't warranted) so don't take offense to it. We're all entitled to our own opinions here and my comment was a poor way of expressing mine. Sorry.

soflat, i'd like you to stay too. i disagree on lakisha/melinda but i don't that's an important point ...

there's too much "troll accusation" on the internet when people don't agree with the consensus view, which i think is very dangerous (for a society)
