Ari; The floor people are without a doubt the best in Vegas. Tom, Rich and Patrick are great. Friendly, will listen to you and even get your food!!!

All,

Just wanted to offer a different perspective than a bunch of the posters here.

I played 2/5 at the Venetian all week during the ME (I went busto on day one). The games were amazing. There were always at least one soft spot, and often as many as three or four. Also, playing 200BBs deep means you can play better than the nits. Also, the Venetian has the most comfortable/pretty poker room I've ever been in. Also, the waiting lists were among the most reasonable I saw in Las Vegas during the ME.

I for one loved the Venetian and am really looking forward to getting back there. Buying in for 200BBs at 2/5 against a bunch of fish (be they nits or loose passives) is hugely +EV.

That is not a small picture.

Fiji rocks. Yet another perk of the V.

this is an annoyingly large pic and makes the thread difficult to read.

hopefully a mod can crop or delete it or something.

Here ya go:

The 3000x2000 pic was a bit big, but this was the point he was making (with regard to why he likes the V).

I used to not care what brand of bottled water I received while gambling. After drinking Fiji I really prefer it highly. Dunno if it's just the shape of the bottle, the cool label or if the water really tastes better (technically no taste at all I suppose).

I'm not sure I've ever had this brand. Everyone seems to be going batty for it. Will have to give it a try sometime I suppose.

Fiji water also happens to be one of the perks of the new Borgata poker room.
