While Cashman may be making the right business move to not sign A-Rod sans an extension, the fact that Yankee fans in here are happy he's leaving is LOL to the max.

Not fun to have root for a guy because he's on your team that inherently deep down u dont like

JoA,

Isn't Boras pretty well known for convincing his clients to go for free agency even if it's not really in their best interest?

[/ QUOTE ]

If Boras consistently screwed over his clients, why would he still have clients?

While answering this question also answer this one. If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?

[/ QUOTE ]

If Jeter grounds into double plays with runners in scoring position during key times in a ballgame, but then Arod strucks out leading off the next inning, does anyone remember Jeter's DP?

Yeah, I'd really hate having the best player in the league on my team too.

% chance he comes to Chi-town?

[/ QUOTE ]

It would be kind of awkward for him to play anywhere else, seeing as to how he's going to have an ownership stake in the Cubs.

My question:

Who is the bigger douche, Hank ("when my old man goes, I'll be sitting in the seat") Steinbrenner or A-Rod?

Arte Moreno,
I will give you $10 to sign Bonds and A-Rod and win the WS.

Here I think DC was talking about Boras suckers another team, not another player. As in if some team other then the Yankees signs him to a huge contract they cannot afford down teh road during his decline years they will have been suckered just like Texas.
