You are a fool. "Athletes" don't play sports better than non-athletes. I'm glad guys are strong or have great 40 times. But your SPP matters much more than GPP in terms of performance at a sport. There are a handful of guys in the NBA who would ever be world class at soccer. Probably closer to none.

Earl Boykins I just looked him up 5’5 I’m impressed he was able to play in the NBA is he the shortest player out there surely he can’t dunk?

Just curious, how do European teams scout youngsters? Do they have people run the 40 and do other tests, or is it all based on observation.

this is another small point: at my high school we had a super athlete who was a bench player on basketball and football and a sub 11 second 100 meter runner in track. his senior year he decides to play soccer for first time since youth leagues and led the team in scoring and was MVP. our high school generally has ~2 kids go D1 every year in soccer, so while not a powerhouse by any means, it is not a bad league at all. i think this speaks volumes to the type of athlete that chooses to play soccer versus football/basketball. Obv Iverson is a better athlete that most soccer players. However, I don't think he could be a world class soccer player. I was agreeing with the first part of Simmons's argument, and disagreeing with second part.
