I think these look so much better:

The new Washington jerseys look like practice jerseys.

Just saw a rumor that Phoenix traded for the #1 pick, moving up from #3. I guess they really want Kane. Maybe Turris. Details to come.

As a Toronto Fan, just wanted to say thank you San Jose.
I absolutely love this trade, Toskala should fit in real nicely with the Leafs. Hopefully Bell and rebound and have a good season too. For some confitional draft picks, I'll take it. I'm glad we have another fine goaltender with Raycroft which was really needed.

The conditional picks work against you Also, good luck with Toskala... he was well liked in SJ. I hope he can be the starter in TOR.

Predators are no longer for sale. Wow, good job Nashville for [censored] up your team.

Just got the news and the way I understand it is the first round pick is for this year's draft but San Jose have the option to move the pick to 2008 if they so choose, but if it's a top 10 pick in 2008 for the Leafs it gets moved to 2009. Sounds good to me.

I was a little surprised that Bell made $2 million, that's pretty expensive for a bit player like Bell though.

If they finish 10th or below next year, we receive your 2009 first round pick... chance for Tavares > top 10 pick in 2008.

Kane. JVR. Turris. Top 3 picks this year.

I should also like to point out that Maple Leafs general manager John Ferguson is skating on thin ice. There's a lot of pressure on him to make some big moves this off season.

In Toronto where Hockey is EVERYTHING, where Toronto can fish dead last in the standings and every game will still be sold out. Which is why the Leafs are so mediocre for so long. Even still, missing the playoffs will not cut it.

It looks like the Leafs are interested in John Muckler. I would love to have that happen and hope Toronto can stick it to the Ottawa Sens one more time.

LOL Kings are bad. Trade down if you think he's that good.
