[ QUOTE ]
Serious answer... immediately slap him back, harder than he hit you, then say something like "what the [censored] is your problem?" and he'll realize he's being a drunk [censored], you still save face in front of your new girl and it doesn't escalate with your friend. [/ QUOTE ] What the [censored] kind of drunks do you hang out with? Smacking the drunk dude back isn't going to make him realize he was acting like a douche. He's [censored] drunk. |

Pretty easy answer, really.
Bitch-slap = Joke it off and add a subtle warning if you're pissed, or mess with him right back Man-Slap = Man slap him right the [censored] back. I usually like a snap-shot to the gut and a standard "Double-you Tee eff Mate?" look. [ QUOTE ] I don't get why people get a pass on [censored] like this because they're drunk. I've been very wasted and never done anything of the sort. Now that his inhibitions are down he can do what he's wanted to do all along, or thinks he can get away with? I once caught someone I thought was a friend peeing on my car at a party. He got KTFO. When I went to pick up some personal property of mine this individual had, he apologized, but for me our friendship was over. I don't think this person is your true friend. [/ QUOTE ] Depends on the friendship. My friends can get pretty rowdy sometimes and a bitch-slap is nothing but a primer for [censored] around until one of us inevitably takes it too far and we all calm down and drink some more. |

Thug,
"Bitch-slap = Joke it off and add a subtle warning if you're pissed, or mess with him right back Man-Slap = Man slap him right the [censored] back. I usually like a snap-shot to the gut and a standard "Double-you Tee eff Mate?" look." I wasn't explicit in my response, but that is pretty much exactly right IMO (down to the reaction shot to the gut). |

FFK,
are there any instances in which you would find an act of violence committed by a boyfriend or significant other acceptable, or at least not a huge turn off? |

Actually this happened to me one time with a friend in college. He was with his girlfriend and being drunk decided to slap me right after I took a shot of vodka. He didn't really smack me hard, it was more of a tap then anything else. But I immediately slapped him back and then we both just started laughing about the incident.
