And to the DRM howlers - re-sample the file without it. If i can do it with an infinitesimal knowledge of audio work, so can you.

[/ QUOTE ]

My guess is that it's not so much the actual DRM as it is the idea of the DRM that the "howlers" are objecting to.

Just in case anyone was wondering: I just signed up now and got the album after only about 2 minutes wait

so, if anyone was thinking that they slacked off and were going to be forced to wait.. think again

also, I felt significantly more iffy about typing in 0.00 than I do downloading an album. Pretty badass play.

I just got immensely high soley for this album, and boy was it worthhhhhhhhh it. I got a bag of doritos and put on my iTunes visualizor. Wow, it was literally a trip through life, space, deep self-reflection, and yeah, just an awesome experience. this album was the shiiiiiit. honestly, thom yorke really shows why he is a misunderstand genius with a sense of music out of this world. i am planning on going on a second trip right now.

btw, the pay what you think is fair is statement from radiohead to the shadey music industry. they're essential going to show them that people don't buy albums because they hate the artist, but they don't bie it because they don't feel a real connection with the band when the medium is a heartless corporate. however, if you let the customer decide what the band should get, they build a connection with the band themselves and actually feel like their money is going straight to them and not the corporate media. Now the question is, was this done as thom york's statement to the music industry, or is it a genius market ploy where they exploit our feelings(guilt).

Notice, I wrote this while I'm high am probabby not making sense.

I'm really liking this, it sounds a little like a follow-up to the Eraser, there's quite a bit of Thom, but yeah I rate it.
