Sounds like your gf clearly wants tripple teamed by players 3, 4, and yourself but you dont' like the idea because it's too many balls on the field and you're afraid they'll bump into each other. I don't see how this relates to skill though.

the balls hitting each other is half the fun... hitting a shot that both screws over your opponent by knocking his/her ball away and gets yours closer to the hole is one of the best feelings in mini-golf.

If you are someone who lives near a place like the jersey shore, ocean city md, or any place that has an insane amount of mini golf, you probably see the rules written differently depending on the course.

Ive always played everyone tees off, furthest away hits, if someone is in the way or right ontop of the hole, they finish out to avoid the hitting other persons ball problem. But if a tee off hits a previous tee off then its just [censored] and giggles.

Way 2 is just for vaginas, sorry

edit: part of the fun is see where everyone is after their first or second shot, and talking trash. If me first shot is smooth and will be an easy 2, and my buddy is stuck behind a rock back at the starting area, it is my duty to rub his face in it.

knocking other peoples balls away from the whole is part of the fun. This is not fun if its 2 people though. 3+ and its like a game of worms, everyones hating on everyone else, rivalries and allegiances develop. With only two people, well youre gay if its with anyone but a girl you wanna bone, and you want to be competitive but not so far as knocking her ball out the way.

Second this. The only way this should be considered is if you are playing with someone with no arms, and you will be there for 13 days, rotating this way will allow the people with arms to play the same hole a few times while no arms is struggling with a golf club hanging out of his mouth.
