Riiight. Keep thinking highly of yourself b/c you are maybe the only one around here with this line of thought, maybe you don't realize that. [censored] trolls...Hornacek, you are wrong here, we need another mod or Cola needs to step in and or fix is troll detector and do some clean up.

EDIT: Hornacek FOR THE WIN!

I changed my list. If all we need to do is get rid of trolls, then I'm all for [censored] coming in here and cleaning house. As long as he's not dictator-like in any other way.

Frankly, I'd be against most of the posters on this particular forum. Why not Jim Kuhn since he's quiet, restrained, and already a mod?

I like this. That's the challenge of finding a good mod - someone who cares enough to read the posts but doesn't get so emotionally invested that they get into arguments. Nolanfans aren't exactly growing on trees.

Once to prove a point to him about his trollishness, I looked through a bunch of JoA's posts. Honestly, I couldn't find anything, then I realize he probably makes 40+ posts/day in Sports, so inevitably one or two of those are going to be confrontational. I do get something of a smug tone, if that's worth something. Which he may deserve because he does know an assload about sports.

As I don't read too much baseball, I can't help much with nominations, but if Aloysius or tdarko are baseball fans, I'd vote for them. Both are level-headed and can withstand a long debate without making it personal.

JoA would be a terrible mod. He already projects moddery-like attributes. I can only imagine how the extra power would go to his 19-year-old head, and ruin this forum.

The Sports mod. should be AT LEAST 25 years of age. And being a subscriber to baseballprospectus.com should not be a prerequisite. The mod. should be level-headed, fair, and accessible, and not act unilaterally (as I can guarantee JoA would).

Jim Kuhn is the only one I can think of who seems adult enough and able to follow the rules set forth by 2+2 and not act unilaterally. And I'm not a big fan of JK, so that should say a lot.

I think it is hilarious how much trouble you guys are having with this. There are 10-15 posters who could do an equally good job, what is the holdup?

you know if cola just banned 3-4 people we wouldn't really need a new mod.

Those are the only two that i can think of who are on and in the baseball threads every day.

[/ QUOTE ]

They also happen to be two of the biggest trolls on this forum, hence, intrinsically bad choices for modship.

[/ QUOTE ]

im glad someone else realizes how worthless JoA and Sublime are! Leave things how they are, no more mods, especially not ones with opinions who post often.
