Boot,

Something like 4% of poker players are actually winning, right? What % of sports bettors are actually winners?

How many fluctuate their actual wins (saying "Oh i win 50K a year", when actually they won 2k? I know i personally am in the 7 figures already this year

b00t,

For an American new to sports betting, which sites would you recommend starting at? Since the bill are there still good bonuses to clear?

Good questions WaterOlay... I dont really have factual answers to them. I would think the % of sports bettors that are winners is a little higher than poker players.

I would assume the same for poker as sports betting when it comes stating their profits. I think a lot of people have good intentions when they devise a plan coupled with a winrate that leads to $1k/wk. Maybe they have done this one or two weeks and say they make $50k/yr. After a month the plan is in shambles and they are back to their true winrate of $200/week or whatever they really are.

I would use VIP and Matchbook.

Matchbook will give you the best lines more often than not but it has limited events you can bet on.

VIP has a good rewards and bonuses program as well as many props so you won't feel left out in the cold. (Especially when discussing props on this forum)
