Was searching a German website for rideshares to Amsterdam and noticed very few listings for Tuesday, then I realized what day Tuesday is. After the recent discovery of a cell with hundreds of pounds of explosives stockpiled here, not a great day to travel.

Also, anyone in Amsterdam want to get together while I'm there?
Can anyone recommend a hostel that's in decent shape?
I know Ajax isn't playing anytime soon, but any other games I could go to?

thinking about getting 50 inch samsung plasma.. they are like 1300 or something on ebay. Thoughts? FWIW im gonna be a freshman in college and will live in the dorm. Not making any decisions till i get there obv (dont start till 20th)

I recently got a smaller Samsung plasma for a bedroom TV, and the picture quality sucks compared to my Sony. It's fine for what it is, but I wouldn't spend the big bucks on a Samsung. This is obv pretty simplistic thinking, but I love my Sony and I'm a fan of the Sharp Aquos stuff too.
