LOL how Cedeno is the savior now. Last year, the Cubs were dumb as [censored] for playing Cedeno.

agreed, but go read the posts from last year and the offseason where the Cubs were dumb as [censored] for even playing Cedeno at all. He was bad last year, but he probably just wasn't ready. For now, Theriot is doing fine although I wouldn't mind giving Cedeno another look once the injury and suspension situation sorts itself out.

Yeah, there wasn't anything at all that could be taken as a positive from his last season. I don't remember what I've said here (if anything) and don't care to look it up, but I doubt I ever would've advocated playing anyone on the roster over him (unless I'm forgetting someone) given that the Cubs were always miles away from contention and it didn't really matter if he sucked at the time.

Only if Wood has learned to throw left handed. Otherwise, he's just another righty in a bullpen with a bunch of good right handed relievers.

Indeed. Also, Marquis has looked very good today. Shown a good sinker, slider, and mixed in a few nice curve balls.
