Looked at my stats for the last 3.5k. Running pretty terrible, down 3BI.

But whats really interesting is that there are only two position I am in the green with. Big green, very big green.

Second one is the button. Logical.

First one is.... BB. Its actually breakeven, but taking blinds out I won 50% more than on the button. The rest is typical, starting with most damage in UTG, then progressing lineraly all the way to the button with a little spike on it.

But why the hell am I destoying things in BB?!

ps I havent used poker tracker in the last 50-70k hands or so.

It happens

I seem to get a lot of free looks and opponents overvalue hands postflop in preflop limped pots. It's one reason I limp more than most here.

I think that the 'difference w/o blind' stat just subtracts the amount of blinds paid from your net winnings in that position. However you the blind goes towards any bets you call, so it's a little misleading to do that - you'd show a massive profit from any position if someone gave you a free 1bb to use in preflop betting each time.

Wtf ??? .... Sputum, those are horrid stats (tho it is a very small sample)

If they are not tainted by sample size, you are far to timid in late position

(No offense, just friendly advice)

It's my entire 6-max experience. I'd rather learn it this way (starting nitty, getting a feel and then loosening up) than starting out 25/22 or whatever. I'm of the 'earn as you learn' school. I feel a little pity for some of the poor souls trying to learn 6-max from the beginning at micros who think they have to play '2+2 standard' preflop or they won't win.
I'm thinking of doing an experiment of say 5k hands where I don't raise preflop ever. Do you think I would have no shot at a green result at say 25NL?
It's not a criticism of the advice given in this forum because it's kinda correct But preflop is pretty meh this low.

Well the full ring forum is that way ---> (or is it that way <----)

Heresy indeed, but dude you can't play shorthanded poker passively intending to hit and get paid off, you will just end up slowly bleeding money.

Experiment all you like, but imho you are not on the right track here.

Nitty is ok, if it means low vpip

Nitty is suicide, if it means low AF.

I'm really starting to think that I play different players to most people. Does Stars 6-max turn into a sharkfest as soon as I go to bed?
I'm not saying it's great poker it's just that it's OK to be exploitable if nobody exploits you. And it can be fun to exploit that image against someone you know takes notice. I don't play for income though. But I seem to come off pretty well postflop.
I like limpfests. There, I said it
