Yang is blowing the poker is mostly skill argument

[/ QUOTE ]

QFT

[/ QUOTE ]

By playing aggressively and putting his chips in with the best hand?

[/ QUOTE ]

As well as by winning numerous hands without showdown?

[/ QUOTE ]

If you don't consider his raising & rerasing and winning without a showdown questionable, then the only dubious play he's made is calling with the A9. Everything else seems to be strong poker (or am I forgetting something).

[/ QUOTE ]

Yang basically ran over the table at the begining and has induced some players to make bad plays. Looks like Yang anticipated the table being tight at the beginning and took a shot, won and now has a lot of chips. He's not home free by any means though FWIW.

Any thoughts...Does the slow-ass pace make the players more nervous or more relaxed?

could phil gordon talk up how great the wsop is anymore? like, wow, howard ledderer and chris ferguson are such awesome people for making a "deeper" event because we went from 10k starting to 20k starting. i mean, if we forget the abysmal limit structure these guys are pretty awesome...

Cream Chips

At the end of this level, a new chip denomination will be introduced. They look white but the color is called "cream."

One cream chip will be worth 250,000.

The lavender chips are worth 100,000.

The salmon chips are worth 50,000.

The peach chips are worth 25,000.

The tangerine chips are worth 5,000.

Next in order are - chartreuse, cornflower and puce.
