when i played, it was 10 batters, seems nowadays the announcers want to hype something and describe 9 batters as batting around. maybe i came from a retarded area of the earth?
(btw, i dont know how many batters came to the plate in any of the scoring innings tonight, im just curious as to what people consider batting around to be)

i always thought that batting around just meant that all 9 batters came to the plate.

another nice 4 run comeback. career night for cano, 3-5, 2b, 3b, GS. and the GS was when los jankees were down by 4, so a huge spot.

arod comes through in with a zero doubt HR, its so sweet to just know its gone a tenth of a second after the swing.

the yankees are getting it together, not a great start by small but hes still been amazing and no one is that good every start. 1.5 back in the east and .5 back in the WC... things are going well.
