Gotta give Alex Kravchenko some props. The guy had a short stack for nearly the entire day and has been able to grind it up to the top 12. Pretty solid work.

Sitting on 17.7 million in chips, Lee Childs stepped away from the table to high-five his dad. Lee picked up a marker and wrote a secret in the palm of his father's hand-- "I had the nuts."

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I haven't watched the ME on PPV before, do they have card cam delayed, or is it old school and live? [/ QUOTE ] Old School and live. No card cam. I wish they'd show the entire event with hole cards the next day. I'd wait a day just to watch the PPV with hole cards. [/ QUOTE ] No card cam?? That sucks, and it is going to be a lot less exciting to the viewer that way.I thought they had like a 30 minute delay or something?? [/ QUOTE ] No hole cards is better. The best coverage the WSOP final table ever had was 2005 with just Hellmuth and a bunch of other pros explaining the action on the cardplayer audio. Was great to see speculation about hands without knowing what they were. At least when the right people are doing it. I love no hole cards. |

Add another ~4mil to Khan's stack. Donkey-John calls the massive river bet with KQ?
Outer Table: Hevad "Rain" Khan Wins Big Lee Watkinson has the button. Hevad "Rain" Khan raises to 350,000 from under the gun. Jon Kalmar calls from the cutoff seat and its heads up to the flop... {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}{10-Hearts} Khan bets 600,000 and Kalmar calls. The turn is the {4-Diamonds}. Both players check. The river brings the {K-Diamonds}. Kahn bets 3,500,000 and Kalmar calls. Kahn shows {K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Kalmar mucks. Kahn wins the pot. |
