What is a good Hands Per Hour. I looked at my 100nl database but it is very small and I am getting 85 hands per hour at FTP. Anyone with a bigger sample can second this for me please. [/ QUOTE ] How many tables? No DB here, but I think I am getting ~80-85 hands per hour per table. I am getting about +10% of that on Party. |

Hey guys,
I am pretty aggro in BvB battles and I have laid down the hammer 3 times with air on the flop against other regs and am so far 3 for 3. Do you often do this? I figure it is a tough almost impossible call for them to make with just one pair (middle pair most likely). Here is an example: http://www.pokerhand.org/?1147279 |

[ QUOTE ] zomg like 7 BIs??????????? that's unbelievable downswing [/ QUOTE ] i lost 3.5 and it's the third worst day i've had since march. which makes it unbelievable to me. maybe losing 7 buy-ins isn't a big deal for you, but for a player of fgators caliber (top 5 2/4 players at stars for sure) it's almost unheard of! [/ QUOTE ] haha at last part.... over last 40k hands I've had a few 4 BI swings |

5 BI downswings should be completely standard for everyone.

Re: SSNL [cheese] thread: JUNE 2007 (nc)
Check my thinking here...
From memory, last night. FTP NL100 BN is terrible in a ultraloose-semipassive sort of way. Does make some stupid bluffs, but generally pays off like a malpractice suit with anything that can beat Ace-high. Stacks = ~31, he's sitting short. BN openlimps, I complete K9o, BB checks (also very passive). Flop K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. I bet 3, BN calls. Turn 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], pot = 9, I bet 8, BN calls. River Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. I'm thinking 2 pair could be the nuts here. He won't bluff the scare cards, but if I bet he will call any made hand. So I put him all in for his last 20... |
