I haven't watched the ME on PPV before, do they have card cam delayed, or is it old school and live?

DID ANYONE NOTICE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE CHIP COUNTS

THEY SEEM ODD

[/ QUOTE ]

All the chips are shades of orange. Players don't know the value of their own chips. They all look alike thru shades.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why wouldn't Harrah's have noticed this long before the ME and planned accordingly?

[/ QUOTE ]

Are you leveling, is this a serious question? Why do they have players play in a Goddamn tent in the middle of summer in Las Vegas? Why do they use cards you can't read? So they can make more money and because they are generally bad planners.

[/ QUOTE ]

It was an obvious level, or so I thought.

Outer Table: William Spadea Takes Down a Pot on the Flop
Steven Garflinkle has the button. Action folds around to Lee Watkinson in the cutoff seat who raises to 400,000. Garfinkle called from the button, as did William Spadea from the small blind. The three players saw a flop of... {Ac}{7s}{5s} Spadea checks, and Watkinson bets 1,000,000. Garfinkle folds and action is back to Spadea. He raises all in and Watkinson folds. Spadea takes down the pot.

Nice move for Spadea, he has been very patient since getting his chip stack decimated.

Old School and live. No card cam. I wish they'd show the entire event with hole cards the next day. I'd wait a day just to watch the PPV with hole cards.

No card cam?? That sucks, and it is going to be a lot less exciting to the viewer that way.I thought they had like a 30 minute delay or something??

I actually think if they are going to continue with hole-card internet broadcast, this is probably what they will have to do for the other events. Players are very unhappy with this year's set up.

If you have hole-card cams, you either need to segregate the entire audience, and confiscate their cell-phones, or completely segregate the player from their family and friends. You can see why having it the same day is a problem.

David Tran busto. Down to 13.

Tuan Lam continues to study David Tran, who is wearing sunglasses as he sits motionless. After several minutes, Lam says, "Call," showing . Tran shows , and it's a race situation.

The flop comes , and Lam flops a pair of kings to takes the lead.

The turn card is the , and Tran needs a six on the river to stay alive.

The river card is the , and Tuan Lam wins the pot with a pair of kings.

David Tran is eliminated in 14th place, earning $429,114.

[/ QUOTE ]

This has to be an error. Wouldn't Lam have to have AK for Tran to bust? It says when he calls that he shows 66.

Last year was one of the best poker broadcasts that I can rember seeing it was way better without the card cams it allowed you to "play along" and try put people on hands when phil H was in the booth it was almost spooky how good he was at reading the hands
