[ QUOTE ] And The Arsenal may not get a result but they'd but up a much better fight [/ QUOTE ] I know TOAFK isn't going to like this, but they would have gotten a better result. So would ManU as well, and its because of their style of play. Chelsea's biggest problem right now, is not having Drogba, yeah thats an obvious statement, but when you have no playmakers in your MF, you need the big man up front to play off of. He's perfectly made for their style of play, with the 4-3-3 Jose played. I am curious if thats what they will continue to play or switch to the more conventional 4-4-2. [/ QUOTE ] One could argue that not having Lampard is worse than not having Drogba. Lampard seems to make the wingers play better. Sheva didn't have a good game. He can finish the ball OK. But he just can't seem to handle the ball outside the box. Lampard being there would help that. |

Gus, you certainly watch more Chelsea than I do, but IMO Lampard is overrated. I think Drogba is the guy that drives your teams offense.
Also, Chelsea has Fulham next weekend?? Fulham might finally keep a clean sheet! |

So let's recap... *[censored] red card for mikel 30 mins into the game *1-0 scum, 3 mins into the supposive 2 mins of stoppage *2-0 scum, thanks to perfect 10 olympic dive by saha [/ QUOTE ] -Thought the red was harsh. You dive in two footed and you're always running the risk of it though. -Corner was given just before 2 mins was up. Referees almost never blow for half/fulltime when the ball is still around a penalty area, they wait for it to be cleared or go out of play. Note also the ruling for added on time is "minimum of". -Ridiculous swan dive to a genuine foul. It was still a penalty. Notice you don't mention surviving a penalty shout that others might have given, a horrible lunge from Cole whereby a red wouldn't have been harsh, and John Terry's ability to never get punished for moving his arm towards the ball. |

Question for ManU fans, even though your team has won 4 straight in the league, are concerned with your teams offense? I didn't think it looked great for most of the game, even when you were a man up.

I didn't think it looked great for most of the game, even when you were a man up. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, but I think a lot of that will be resolved as the team readjusts to being at full strength. Missing Rooney and Ronaldo for so long certainly has the team out of sync to a certain degree - and I think Tevez will really benefit from their presence as I haven't been convinced that he could carry the load for this team in the absence of the big 2.
