Re: f;hgghsfsgdgjfdityrehvfadksbjv
Through a combination of fumbles and movement penalties, Tennessee skillfully ties up the game!

WOW
I haven't seen any of this (Tennessee) game, just flipped over to it but that finish of regulation was crazy. Two fumbles, the shank of the kick when the lineman false started then he nails it from 5 more back. Crazy. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] WTFWTFWTF Fulmer needs to be fired. Immediately. Like, DURING this game! Jesus. OMG that was so stupid. [/ QUOTE ] Meh, minute and half, one timeout, the clock shouldn't be a factor. If that icing the kicker works like 5% of the time, it's probably worth it. If there was 30 seconds left, I'd agree. hd [/ QUOTE ] Sacks happen. Completions tackled in bounds under 10 yards happen. [/ QUOTE ] Yep. And they BOTH happened on that drive (massively unlikely with a smart QB and a QB that rarely gets sacked), and they still kicked on 4th down, meaning the clock didn't matter at all. That TO would not have helped them AT ALL there. Thus, the chance of icing the kicker was a freeroll. If it iced Succop, TN wins. If not, nothing lost. I mean, those of you who say it was blatantly stupid, how often would the icing have to work for it to be smart? Obviously if icing the kicker works 99% of the time, it's a no brainer. If it works 0.01% of the time, it's a blatant waste. At some point, there's a breakeven point. I guesstimated that it's probably around 5%. I still stand by that. hd |

Re: f;hgghsfsgdgjfdityrehvfadksbjv
For the record, I have nothing invested in this game either, other than hoping the weakest possible team wins the SEC East so (hopefully) LSU can win the championship.
I just thought that was Fulmer did there was so unbelievably dumb. I was blown away. Britanny Spears has a new doublewide! Dayumn. |

[/ QUOTE ] What difference did it make? If they have a TO, they kick a FG from there. IF they don't have a TO, they kick a FG from there. No difference. The attempt to ice Succop was a freeroll. |

Re: f;hgghsfsgdgjfdityrehvfadksbjv
humdinger,
let us assume that instead of 2nd down the sack happened on 3rd down. still a freeroll? |
