Re: We win (AP Scandal v. 27)
Well, it's possible that insiders at AP who have a clue how to play poker were cheating with other accounts in an undetectable manner. Then someone tells a moron they work with about it and he proceeds to go too far with the cheating and get caught. Instead of everyone going down, they agree to blame just him and he agrees to take the fall (since he was the moron who cheated so blatantly) so long as they pay him some decent $$$ to take the fall.
[ QUOTE ] Their actions and accounts to date are only consistent with one thing - the people who control operations at AP are the cheaters. If there was actually someone in higher mangement who wasn't in on it, the blatant lies would have ceased by now. The cheaters didn't have to worry about getting caught by AP, or the KGC, or any other governing body (themselves). They could cheat blatantly and deny any allegations. Only when the file leaked did we gain any substantial evidence. I can't think of any resolution of this matter that would discourage them from further cheating. All they have to do is be a little more careful, and keep tighter control over what is sent out. The only alternative outcome is that KGC revokes their license (yea right). Otherwise, this will blow over in the media, and we are back to square one. [/ QUOTE ] |

Fluff- I don't think we are coddling. They have stated they will be making an official statement. We expect that to come nearing the end of today's press cycle for obvious reasons. I assume we have tarps ready to sprong at that point when their complete inadequacy is exposed. edit: apparently sprongs may also be one thing. [/ QUOTE ] What's the point of waiting, other than drama? We already know they're liars. |

[ QUOTE ]
"The cheater made no attempt to make off with his illegitimate winnings — estimated at between $400,000 and $700,000 by one victim — but was an employee of AbsolutePoker.com who hacked the system to show that it could be done, said a spokesman for the company, who spoke with msnbc.com on condition of anonymity. This is literally a geek trying to prove to senior management that they were wrong and he took it too far,” he said. [/ QUOTE ] ??? [ QUOTE ] This is kinda ridiculous, let's see their proof for this. [/ QUOTE ] Ehhhhh.... If you tell the truth their statement can only be false. What they claim to be the truth, would have resulted in different footprints than those which have been found. For those footprints to be faked: ROFL I repeat once more: AP DIAGF |

Re: We win (AP Scandal v. 27)
Nath- yes. It's been discussed several times.
And worth reiterating I think things known but not discussed yet should remain dramabombless until AP has stated whatever it is they said they were going to as per the P5s thread that was started. I'm not even sure dissecting the holes in their story in this thread is the best idea yet. |

Re: We win (AP Scandal v. 27)
I emailed AP asking for a hand history that I played with steamroller which I already posted. I logged into AP after this to see wtf is going on and my account is active and fine. 3rd party investigations are going to turn up a lot. Such database dumping....
