it is a topic ive thought about a lot though. i mean people glorify large bankrolls and its really quite unfounded. im a pretty good example of this as i have 300-800 buyins for my regular games, but it seems so suboptimal. all a bankroll is designed to do is minimize risk of ruin, but when you play low, you sometimes sacrifice a lot of EV in the process.

idk, i feel like most msnlers should take more shots than they do, myself included.

but isn't it more about what you're comfortable losing?

as long as it's large enough, bankroll is irrelevant on a short-term basis.

it then gets broken down into what you're comfortable risking and losing on a daily basis.

with that said, i guess i have pretty nitty bankroll requirements

There is a huge opportunity cost if you could be a winning 10/20 player but never take a shot past 2/4 3/6 because ur scared of losing money

I'm scared of moving up because my really pretty ptBB/100 will drop and it will depress me.

lol yea, its nice having a winrate >5ptbb - something that is, of course, unsustainable at 10/20+ unless youre destined for nosebleed.
