zae,

bet more on turn like $45 against two opponents and highly consider folding that river in hand 1 with the push and the caller

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah my bet sizing was bad, but getting sth like 4-1 vs those two make +EV call.

Theory: TAGs aren't calling many raises PF with high cards so bet high card flops with whatever you raised with.. this is especially true if they call OOP.. reasons: What do you call OOP with to an EP raise? Kx? almost never.. Ax? Tags 3-bet their good aces and are good enough to fold their bad aces and mid-aces. Whenever I think of 'good' board texture and 'bad' board texture, I know loose/bad players will call habitually with paint cards and any ace, so high card flops aren't great.. but the TAG is more in the SC and pair calling mode so high card flops don't bother me as much.. of course depends on the player, some nits smooth call AQ and AK even when I raise in LP and they're on the Button..

I was just thinking a 5-6-10 flop is much more threatening to me than a AK7 flop when I raise in 3rd spot or something with 44 or something and get called by a TAG

[/ QUOTE ]

Haven't seen a "TAG" in a long while that can fold any suited ace to one raise. They love their "implied odds", lol.

[/ QUOTE ]

i'll guarantee you two ppl at NL100 on UB that don't call with Axs

[/ QUOTE ]

I was exaggerating, but most TAGs are just in love with "speculative" hands and are always trying to "flop big".

But yesterday a 22/16 raised UTG, a 24/15 called in the SB, I potted with QQ from the BB, and both called.

flop comes T8x rainbow and SB pots into me and calls my push with J9s.

Probably a lot of people in SSNL think that's a good pre-flop call, but it's really [censored] terrible. Especially if you are going to pot-bet/call this flop.

And I am quite sure that this "TAG" calls 3-bets with Axs, 22+,56s+,97s+ even when we are just HU, and it's pretty common for most guys with stats like that on UB.

[/ QUOTE ]

do you advocate coldcalling a raise with Axs in position?

also me>valuekill

[/ QUOTE ]

Not just to "flop big".

And a 3bet pretty much never (4betting sometimes if I think villain is FoS).

Ugh. SB is a TAG who reraises way too much. I think his range is like 88+,AJ+, something nutty like that. I hate this hand so much but I don't see what else I can do.
