do any of you guys have like a feeling of impending doom after you've run really good?
I've run so good for my last 10k hands of 3/6, that I just feel like any one of these days I'm going to drop 10 buyins. I run bad and think I always run bad. I run good, and fear running bad. I have like the worst poker psyche ever |

[/ QUOTE ] yeah im exact same. it's the changing of game i'd have to do that seals the deal. it's either autopilot 2/4 for $400/hr, or spend a few months getting coaching and/or changing the framework of my game to be better vs tougher regulars to only make a tiny bit more, and possibly much less for a while. i have completely tuned my game around 2/4, when i play 5/10 and 10/20 im very aware that im being exploited by some of the better players because i don't multistreet bluff enough, vbet thin enough, bluff checkraise flops enough, etc. because it just isn't necessary/profitable in the games i play in but it would take a huge amount of work for small immediate return... i have no desire to play 200/400 or anything, so the implied odds most people believe they have at the end of the yellow brick road aren't even an illusion for me and it's hard to leave the comfort of 400/hr. |
