[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] The Chargers suck, and they got saved by a complete judgment call penalty that moved the kick back 5 yards. [/ QUOTE ] If they don't get that penalty what happens there? [/ QUOTE ] Well, let's just say for the sake of argument, the Colts call the timeout that they were going to if SD didn't jump. Let's give Vinatieri the EXACT same kick, only from 24 instead of 29. FG good, Colts up and Rivers is forced to throw the ball. LOL, the Chargers got shut out for basically the ENTIRE GAME on offense. I kinda like our chances. [/ QUOTE ] You may kinda like your chances but your hailed QB just had the worst game of his life, and you want to blame it on 1 disputable call? snap out of it [/ QUOTE ] He's right, if not for that call, the COlts probably win. That's not to say Peyton didn't have a bad game, or a bunch of penelties/non-penelties got called the game wasn't different, but that last kick was a very measurable "change one thing and its a totally different game" thing. Cody [/ QUOTE ] I just want everybody to see this one more time. If you aren't going to lose your minds and flame him for agreeing with what I said, then why flame me for [censored] saying it? I love that I can make otherwise reasonable people go insane just because of who I cheer for. [/ QUOTE ] Well, he is a lot more reasonable and less ridiculous than you are, but I already refuted his point so your reaction here is kind of pointless. I disagreed with him the same as I would have with you. |

[ QUOTE ]
well all i know is that i actually have an argument and there are some facts behind that argument. Manning is mediocre without great offensive weapons. it's a fact. Show me a great performance by him, without great offensive players. All you do is say "ban"... "troll"... or some other crap. if it's so ridiculous, why can't you just prove me wrong? You can't. [/ QUOTE ] OMG STOP PLEASE. |

[ QUOTE ] I was happy with the outcome and that PLO poster is still tilting the hell out of me. What a blatant troll. [/ QUOTE ] Gee if only there were people who moderated forums and were capable of banning people. [/ QUOTE ] I can't...not my forum so it's a violation of protocol. If I could he would be long gone. Just report it or put him on ignore or something. I don't know if this game is an indictment of how bad the Chargers offense is or a comment on how good the Colts defense is. People who had money on SDG at least had to sweat their win down the stretch, seeing as a late TD would have covered. |

Cody is just as wrong as you are, if that makes you feel better.
that call maybe decreased the Colts win % by < 1 %. |

I'm too tired to think of an analogy. It suffices to say that you are terrible at arguing. |

Re: NFL Week 10 Sunday Night Football: Colts@ Chargers
OK, I'll make everybody here a deal.
If Sublime can go ONE Colts thread without flaming me (which he's done repeatedly in this thread), I'll (just to see what happens) tone down the fact that I'm a Colts fan. I'm passionate, but I ALWAYS bring logic to the discussion. The obvious split here between how Pats fans are treated when THEY get bad calls and me when I talk about bad calls is disgusting. Also, we're all in agreement PLO8 should be permabanned, correct? |

Re: NFL Week 10 Sunday Night Football: Colts@ Chargers
As I said above, wouldn't it have been better for the Colts to take a 5 yard penalty there anyway?
I think the slight increase in likelihood of winning given a miss would outweigh the slighter increase in the chance of a miss. |

Edge, you might want to just sit out the next couple NFL-related threads.
