[ QUOTE ]
On the TT hand if he calls the flop I sorta wish he didn't suck because a lot of the hands he could float the flop with can't stand a decent bet on the turn. If you're going to do this you have to make a small cbet though. If you think he'll hang onto Ax or something, then just check turn.

It doesn't seem like the worst spot to not cbet either and then bet the turn if he checks behind on the flop.

[/ QUOTE ]

Dunno if you noticed, but he's only got 45bbs to start the hand.

Bones - T9s hand

I'm probably betting the turn. If not, I'm betting the river. He's passive so yeah, he could have checked to you on the river with a better hand, but you're ahead most of the time and he can call with a lot.

Live cash game 2/5 (300NL) at SanManuel in San Bernadino...
1st orbit after I sit. 9 handed.

Me CO+1 (300) Strikingly handsome fellow.
SB (150) Asian Gangster looking dude.
BB (300ish) Oversized sunglasses, hoodie.

Me has K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
buncha' folds, Me raises to $20 , SB raises to $45,, BB calls, Hero...calls?

The only reason I called is because of BB and his stack. Should I just fold here? What if BB does not call? Does being 2/5 but only $300nl make a difference here?

Flop T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) Pot is $135
SB bets $50, BB calls $50, Hero...

In the actual hand I shoved, how bad is that?

[/ QUOTE ]

Not a great spot, but I think I just fold pre. The 2/5 games I've played in LA are very loose, but the $45 cold call is nasty for your hand.

On the flop it's not likely to do you much good to fold one of them but not the other and you probably aren't folding both of them. With three of you in the pot I think you have to call this and probably repeat the same thing on the turn.

I hope you hit your heart.

I actually like the shove on that live hand. There's $240 in the pot already and you've got about $250 left behind. You're just deep enough that you can get the BB to fold some hands and if you're called by either (or both) you're getting just about the 2-1 odds you need for your draw (and better than your odds if either of your overs is good).

Micro, he's only calling $25 into a $110 pot. I never fold here. As to postflop, I agree that I prolly turn calling station (and hope that you brought another $900 in pockets) until improve to 2nd nuts.

I started playing NL100 this month. I'm more comfortable playing a bit nittier than most of you but since my table selection has high standards I can libe with it i quess. Here are some stats over 8k+ hands or so. Anything out of order?

I'm trying cash out as well; I think I may suck more at cash than SNGs though...

PokerStars Pot-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($36.60)
UTG ($15.40)
UTG+1 ($38.20)
MP1 ($24.50)
MP2 ($9.90)
CO ($4.45)
Button ($18.90)
Hero ($24.35)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 raises to $0.75, 1 fold, MP2 calls $0.75, 1 fold, Button calls $0.75, Hero calls $0.65, 1 fold.

Is the call PF OK? I don't like drawing hands OOP but here its a multi-way pot and I have good relative position on the PF raiser (assuming he bets the flop; have not played with him much).

Flop: ($3.25) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets $1.5, MP2 folds, Button folds, Hero calls $1.50.

Obviously not folding here; how often do you lead out or semi-bluff raise here?

Turn: ($6.25) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets $5.95, Hero raises to $11.9, UTG+1 calls $5.95.

River: ($30.05) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $10.2 (All-In), UTG+1 calls $10.20.

Final Pot: $50.45

Comments appreciated.
