It helps more in small stakes to tell regs from the fishes and to know who to 3bet light.

What do you mean by high variance game? One in which you try to play a lot of hands?

Thanks a lot man, I am working on it. Of course, the fact that I dropped another 5BI right now is making it tough to stay patient hahaha.

One thing I am definitely doing is cbetting way too much because I am actually stupid enough to think that the 10NL donks will realize that the guy who is seeing 16% of the flops is only playing strong hands.

[/ QUOTE ]

yeah, i meant seeing a lot of flops and showing a lot of aggression, both pre and postflop. your cbets aren't going to take down as many pots as they would at 25 and 50, and you don't really need to make them as often because your opponents will pay off your big hands anyway.

no +5bi came from playing good--- if I had ran average it would have been at least +8, and If i ran good it would have been 10+ bi sesh.

Thanks a bunch man.

I was looking through my PT stats and noticing that most of the players who appear to be consistent winners have AF's somewhere between 1 and 2. I was going to tone down my aggression a bit postflop to see how that worked.

It seems like we are both in the same boat - currently scraping the barrel of my mega downswing (:cough:13BI:cough at 10NL, and maybe what gelford said earlier is correct - open up 4 tables, play 22+ AQo+ and play some sort of 10/8 game, just win small pots and don't get involved for your stack without a set. Will give it a go
