Default A Call for Civility in Poker

Day in and day out I see people win and lose in poor fashion at the tables. I make it a point to be friendly at the tables as it is in the best interest of the game. If you are on tilt or mad dont say anything, no reason to berate people no matter what! Hold yourself to a higher standard please. Maybe this post can stop at least 1 person from saying something inflammatory next time they lose to a suckout.

Thank you,
~Justin

i want ppl who start celebrating like jumping into the stands after the end of a hand or start screaming lose 20% of there chips evenly distributed throughout the other players at the table.

if you win the tourney then i thin its ok to do that. but not after a hand.

I completely agree Jurullo. This is one of my biggest pet peeves as well. Nice sentiment.

Amen brotha. I pretty much don't chat anymore, unless its someone I know addressing me. Its just unnecessary. Stars still takes the cake with the poor sportsmanship from what I've seen IMO.

Agreed, a lot of people are bad winners and bad losers.. Im sure everyone has a story, so here's mine: I was playing in the 25K on stars, semi-deep just past the bubble, and I have one of the bigger stacks, I raise with 6-10spades on button, shortie pushes giving me like 4:1 on my call so I call and he shows JJ. I flop a 6 and turn a 6.. then the person follows me around on the rail and berates me for like 5 mins saying the only way I called is if I was cheating and how bad I am, etc etc.. this is annoying.. of course I don't respond.

Remember to always be respectful and take your wins/losses with some grace. There was a guy at my table a while back who said "Beat it, loser" everytime somebody busted.. I'm sure these types eventually get what's coming to them.

Clearly some of you have been at my tables recently. I always want to not get crazy, but sometimes I just can't help it.
