This is the best sharp cheddar I've ever tasted. Pair it with this wine: I get them both at costco. |

Re: The Cheese Thread
bump!
I was eating some Laughing Cow tonight (paired with Ritz crackers because i am a balla). How legit would y'all say Laughing Cow is? Note that legitimacy aside, Laughing Cow is clearly delicious. Plus, separate wedges for easy cracker-spreading! Here is a non-standard cheese i haven't seen in the thread, but which i love: Cotswold "A whole milk cheese that can be either pasteurized or unpasteurized. Cotswold is a variation of double glouster to which chopped onions and chives have been added. It is golden yellow to orange in color." Also, from here "The harmonious blend of mellow, crumbly cheese and powerful vegetables makes Cotswold a terrific complement to the softer, milder flavors on your cheese board. Being a popular pub cheese in England, it is commonly served with hard-crusted bread and a strong, dark ale." I have found it at Andronico's in the Bay Area, but not sure if Whole Foods ever has it. Any sighting in Vegas would be much appreciated! |
