*... action out of turn may be binding.* In other words floor may enforce an adverse decision against the player which would imply a violation had taken place.

From these same rules:

*If a dealer kills an unprotected hand the player will have no redress and will not be entitled to his money back. Immunity would be if a player raised and his raise had not been called yet, he would be entitled to receive his raise back.*

This version of rules would permit the poster to avoid losing the raise, which I think is reasonable and workable but probably not ideal.
