Oh, I fully expected lots of these. That's fine. It will have served its purpose as long as those with usable ideas still post. I'm not hearing that people want much changed here, except possibly 'old hand'.

At any rate, all the titles, including "Carpal\'Tunnel," made some sense when I first started posting. Nobody had 10000, or some equally absurd number of posts (sorry Tut).

And the titles for those who are just starting out still make sense.

"Pooh-Bah" is overly pretentious, but at least is complimentary. However "Carpal\'Tunnel" is simply a put-down. Well... it occurs to me that some may actually like that title for themselves. (I realize it's your title too).

I like "grotesquely handsome" the best as a title, although I wouldn't want it to be my own title (and anyway it is "taken").

I think given the "creativity level" of some folks on this site, allowing people to customize their titles is a bad idea. They already have the Loc: field as it is. Also, undertitles being a carrot you can dangle to reward good posters is a somewhat valuable tool to have.
