From The Godfather: The wedding scene where the women are sitting at a table, discussing the size of Sonny's dick. It's just tacky and out of place and goofy.

[/ QUOTE ]
As pointed out, relevant because its important later in the story.

[ QUOTE ]
Goodfellas: The very last line of the film, right before they play Sid Vicious' version of 'My Way:' "I'm an average nobody... get to live the rest of my life like a schnook." SHNOOK? Isn't that Yiddish? Why the hell would Henry Hill use the word "shnook?" I just really wish it had been "typical mope" or something.

[/ QUOTE ]
His wife is Jewish and he's renouncing his Italian neighborhood/gangster former life.

I thought Scorcese's scenes in Taxi Driver ("You should see what a 45 does to a women's pvssy") were really weird and broke the rhythm of the movie.

Why does Rounders keep coming up? This is supposed to be bad moments in great films, not even worse moments in bad films.

[/ QUOTE ]

It was better than All In. Just saw it on tv last night and it might be the worst flick ever made. Doctors refusing to remove all of a woman's cancer if she didn't pay them 10K. Real believable story line.

The scene in Rounders that made no sense was Mike turning down sex from Petra. When the Producer or maybe it was the director, I can't rmember which, was asked about that, he said yeah that they blew that.

[/ QUOTE ]

She wasn't supposed to be played by Famke Janseen when the script was writen, that's why.

[ QUOTE ]
Also, why is Alonzo going to the Russian meeting point without the money? He thought they'd give him an extension?

[/ QUOTE ]

I thought he was just running away.

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

Legolas doing a boardslide down the [censored] stairs on a shield.
That, and playing Gimli for laughs.

I really hated how they tried to appeal to the demographic that probably didn't like The Fellowship of the Ring.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't remember which of the three films it was, but at some point, Legolas and Gimli are counting how many orcs they have each killed and making a game out of it. It seemed pretty corny to me.

Corny maybe, but also in the book.

I think if you took all the very worst aspects of Daver, diebitter, Clarkmeister, and Blarg, you'd end up with Rushmore.

[/ QUOTE ]

If I'm going to be insulted, I would at least like to know what it means.

If I had to deduce, I would imagine I am being called cynical or mean-spirited or something.

Anyone? I feel all lost and cold and alone all of a sudden.

In the end of Fight Club where they show Brad Pitt and Edward Norton fighting, then show it as it's "really happening" in the security camera. Would have been much better if they had just left the dialog the same, but avoided beating you over the head with the fact that they were one person. Not sure how it's handled in the book, I forget. A little ambiguity would have improved the film though.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah this sucked. Especially the way he was throwing him self all over the place in ways that were physically impossible for someone to do.
