Curiousity took overhand so I put down 5x 1-dollarbets to find out. Apparently it randomizes what team you get (since I don't trust bookies I bet it's skewed). In any case the teams I got was Tennessee, Arizona, NY Giants, Philadelphia and Atlanta \o/

Well to be fair, all it says is "pinata." That does not imply a fair sampling of NFL teams. I'm guessing all of the junk candy gets thrown in.

a fantasy football league i am in is looking for replacement owners.

the league is auction style and has been running for four years. it is $100 buyin and has a good, competitive group of guys. last night we held our auction, but the site kept crashing for two hours past our scheduled time, and two owners missed the entire auction when we re-convened.

the AI picked their teams for them, and did not do a very good job. currently they have the option of keeping their teams for a discounted $70 entry, but a new person can come and claim a franchise, while these guys decide what to do (and haggle with the commish i guess).

it is a keeper league (most people keep 1-2 players per year) and will continue on for several years i think, because it is well run and the core group is solid. if this sounds interesting to anyone, the site is at:
