I never even heard of the Alhambra before this list. That and the German castle were the only two I knew nothing about. Spain is on my short list of places I want to go next anyway, have to check it out. Oh yeah I was in the Statue of Liberty when I was 3. So not a lot of impression there.

Travel Channel's Samantha Brown is taking her Passport to Latin America series to Peru Wednesday evening from 8-9pm (Eastern time I assume...probably Pacific time too).
First half-hour is the city of Cuzco which is high in the mountains and where most of the tourists go to stay. Second half-hour is Machu Pichu. |

Man, Stone Henge blows. I mean its pretty amazing how they hauled those huge rocks for hundred of miles thousands of years ago, but its still just some standaing stones. I can think of much more awesome monuments and monuments. As an aside, my veiw may be skewed since I live 30 minutes drive from Stone Henge and drive right past it every time I go to visit family or go to London.
