I dont know which country allows to change the terms and conditions that would affect the past. How the [censored] should that work? They could just change the Terms&Conditions and say "We take a setup fee for opening your account. The fee will be 1.000$ and it will affect all users who have registered before 2007 as the new users aswell"

It makes no f***in sense =)

True. So, what part of their T & C is Party changing?

The players have never been at risk and will continue to not be at risk. Party doesnt give a damn if you signed up with an affiliate for the unmentionable. What they care about is the affiliate who knowingly, or perhaps unknowingly signed you up.

They had no right to get paid for your play in the first place, and they dont have the right to get paid for your play now, UNLESS of course it was your first ever account at party.

The only thing you might be pissed about is that your affiliate may never see a dime off your play again which means you will never see any unmentionable again. Unless of course you try to jump through hoops again, sign up with another affiliate, under a different name blah blah blah and the whole cycle starts over again.

Could anyone clarify this - if someone has rb set up on their first ever account would they be eligible for rb?

1) RB has never been permitted by Party.

2) However, this particular enforcement effort appears to be only targetting those accounts that fit the following criteria:
a) opened since December 2006
and
b) held by someone who held a previous account

If either (a) or (b) do not apply to you, your account will not be affected by this.

Mephisto,

I did not mean to suggest that PartyPoker would interfere with the money in your player account.

I have seen no evidence to suggest that PartyPoker would take any action against the end players.

I believe that PartyPoker will only taget affiliates. They, in turn, will presumably stop paying RB money.

Yes Party are greedy jackasses etc. etc. but holy [censored] it's ridiculous how careless and complacent the rb affiliates had become in recent times; it was like they were taunting Party to shut them down. Had they exercised a little self-control and discretion we wouldn't be facing this whole mess now.
