Re: NBA Slam Dunk/3 point/ skills contest.

They should adopt the college system, you get 60 seconds from when you first touch the ball to complete a dunk [/ QUOTE ] that is a good rule [ QUOTE ] Candice Parker woulda pwned these guys. [/ QUOTE ] hahaha boring dunks that get 5-10 extra points because she's a girl, and she still only wins because the guys brick out tougher dunks |

"I had a few things I wanted to do," a subdued Iguodala said. "But it's tough when you're sitting around and you get stiff.
Awesome. Also, he is NOT "AI". Also Reggie Miller, he is not "the other AI". Just call him Andre, or Iggy, or learn how to pronounce his name. Sheesh. The shootout was also rigged. Nowitzki's shot was late and they counted it--he should've been in a three-way tiebreaker just to get out of the first round. The team thing was gay--give each team three tries or something, or run the risk of the first team putting up an untouchable time and rendering the rest of the contest moot. If I bought a ticket to this thing, I'd be mailing the stub to David Stern asking for a refund. In fact, I want to be paid for wasting three hours of my life! |

[ QUOTE ] Congrats Nate "14 attempt" Robinson [/ QUOTE ] So let me get this straight. For his final dunk, he missed THIRTEEN TIMES before making it??? I thought you had like a 2 miss limit or something. [/ QUOTE ] Can someone please confirm this for me? I'm finding it hard to believe. |

Re: NBA Slam Dunk/3 point/ skills contest.
Does anyone else think the Spud Webb dunk was a good dunk 8.5-9 range, and then everyone was so impressed because it was over Spud Webb, which is just a stupid gimmick ala Josh Smith's Domnique dunk.
Another good addtion they have in the college dunk constest every gives a raing out of 50, which leaves a much larger margin for error. |

Re: NBA Slam Dunk/3 point/ skills contest.
I knew Andre would own this thing, he had a ridiculous dunk in a college game. He took off from the 3 point line down the baseline, beating his man off the dribble, he jumped from about 5 feet behind the low block on the baseline, as he went up, some guy was coming down from guarding the high post and getting ready to maul the [censored] out of him, so he decided to duck while in the air so he didnt hit his chin on the rim, adjust mid dunk, and throw it down 2 handed backwards on the other side of the rim, he musta been in the air for 3 seconds, it was m-fing ridiculous.
Too bad stupid Nate Robinson sucked the judges D... just like at Washington, the commentators always sucked his D, he's a prick and a dirty player |
