Double Cheeseburger for a buck. Loss leader?

Or Wendy's Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger that in many Wendy's does sell for $.99 (sometimes $1.29). Bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes>>>>>>>>>2 pickles/extra patty.

I think the Junior Whopper is also $1.00 now so thats way better too.

Flying. How cheap is it to fly to another country? Prices not only haven't gone up in the last ten years, they've gone down.

[/ QUOTE ]

Very true. Depending on what day/time I go at I can fly from Northern Ireland to England for £5. I mean WTF, £5! It costs me £5.30 to get the train to a place an hour away.

Unfortunately they tax it to [censored] though.

[/ QUOTE ]

I noticed that is the UK's scam.

I got $350 round trip tickets for my dad and I to go to London last year from California. Great deal until we paid like $300 in taxes on $700 in tickets.

Still ridiculously cheap to fly halfway around the world though.

Ramen noodles. 8/$1

[/ QUOTE ]

Seriously, how does this company make money? And why don't they charge like 50 cents at least? I can't imagine anyone wanting Ramen but then deciding not to buy them because 50 cents is too much.

I think there are other brands, otherwise you are completely right nobody is a big enough nit to complain about 50 cents.
