Can't wait for Thursday again w/ the 5k Min.

Just from eye-ballin' every1, this table looks like the wrong lineup for Tony LA.

[/ QUOTE ]

You're telling me.

It figures that the one night I pick to go they seat 7 of 9 (seemingly) solid players (I haven't watched the show yet) - only seat 5 and 9 (maybe 8) were worth staying at the table for, and being card dead all evening didn't help (nor did having seat 9 pick up AA in the straddle when I had my first playable hand in ages... blech).

Oh well.. hopefully Friday will be better. Thursday should be fun to watch.

I do know they've talked about making some more changes to the show in the coming weeks - focusing a bit more on the players and table talk and a bit less on the commentary.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Barts commentary is like one of the things making this show still watchable. Sure things like "he has two pair" and stuff like that is not that important, but the other talk about bank roll management, reverse implied odds, certian plays against certian types of players and so on is what makes the show so good.

I hear ya... I don't even want to calculate how much money Bart's made me by helping me improve my own game over the last year. The same analysis he's basically provided everyone for $15 a month. The commentary certainly is a valuable component of the show.

i think they should mic the players at the table but not keep them up to high. then if an interesting conversation at the table comes up they can bring the table levels up and let us listen in.

Please don't focus on the table talk more than Bart and whomever is in the booth with him. Bart makes the show go. A bunch of LA poker nitwits gabbing at each other is completely useless to the viewer.

I agree that the table mikes should be available to turn up and down at the will of the director, like if a big hand is happening or something similar, but that's it.

They've finally got the 25-50 NL game ($5k min buyin) going, with a prize of Lakers' tickets for the "best" whatever they determine that to be.

Yea [censored] that [censored] the only reason I watch the show is because its cash games and the commentary. I will 100% cancel my subscription if they make Bart talk less.

On a happier note I'm pumped for this game, and I love watching Avo!
