Ah, so that's why every jackdonkey who doesn't like what somebody says to them wants to play heads up? Like it's some great battleground for titans?

I'd be fine with going out behind the casino and going heads up. I'm fairly certain even a middle-aged former boxer and martial artist who still goes a pretty-decent 6'0"/230 could handle some guy who's been sitting behind a computer screen his entire life, but that's just me.

Seriously, doesn't it get tiresome to hear these idiots saying how great they are on the Internet, yet come into a casino and donk off a ton of chips? And then, when you say what you see every day of the week and twice on weekends, say we'll play heads up? Gimme a break. Or let me break something. Either way, I'm okay with it.

No one out here is worried that Internet guys will come out and "crush" the games. I was one, and I didn't. I know many who've thought the same things and didn't. It's not a terrible confession to say you've lost in live games. Not worth losing sleep or a pint of blood.

I don't know about that. I dislike arrogant young Internet players as much as the next guy, and I'm not a very strong player myself. However, most 1/2 NL games I've been in really are crushable, and I have crushed them to the tune of about $25-$30 per hour.

If a good Internet player isn't crushing the live 1/2 NL game, it's probably because he's using tricks that are too sophisticated for the weak live players, and trying to play multiway pots the same way he plays a single player after isolating him pre-flop. It's also easy to lose respect for the game and let down your guard, and even in a very soft no-limit game it's a very dangerous thing to do and is going to bite you.

Far from every Internet player tears up the live 1/2 NL game. However, those that do tend to be young Internet players, in my experience.
