The line-up of this week is way better than last week. Hellmuth's act was funny the first time I saw it, but it gets old real fast. I don't need "Junia" to tell me about "rope". I want to see real poker and not some little child crying and running around the casino when people laugh at his remarks. Hansen and Huck were nice to watch, though.

In this episode we're seeing a lot more creative poker. D.N. is playing a lot, Matusow is constantly trying to steal pots from Buss, Bronsun made a few nice bluffs etc. Matusow may be much more talkative than Hellmuth, but at least he doesn't hold up the game. I agree with all the other people about the commentator, we don't need someone to tell us "player X has A high" every so often, it's useless.

NBC has every episode from this week on their website.

Is there anywhere to find every episode from week 1? I can only find the short director's cuts on their website.

This week we're seeing a much more interesting poker, IMO. Players are actually playing others player rather than just their cards.

Pretty candid of Grey mentioning he hasnt won much the last five years. He then says something like "more than Doyle though". Him and Danny quickly change the subject. Its hard to pick up all the conversation with the commentator going off.

Is Doyle one of the ATM's in the big game? His online site monies would pay for some big losses.

Talking about the PPL :

David Grey : "You guys got it all fixed up, Chip's got Eli in there so he can be around him and play in the side games"

Doyle nods

Very interesting!

It should be obvious to you that Dr. Buss did a single-event sponsorship deal with DoylesRoom.NET.

Yes. And it should be obvious to you that I'm disturbed by the fact that a guy with 9+ figures in his bank account would sacrifice his dignity for $20K. That was the whole point of my post.

Since when does Jerry "Slumlord" Buss have dignity? You're surprised that someone who's always been motivated primarily by money would continue that?

Really, it's gotten to the point where he is just talking to talk. During that all-in I just wanted somebody, anybody, to tell him we don't need a play by play.
