Not to mention that LS under this defintion has a government.

[/ QUOTE ]

WAIT A SECOND!!! IT HAS A GOVERNMENT!!!???!!!! Oh yeah, it never claimed to be without one.

[/ QUOTE ]
You should learn more about the views you support. There are defintitely anarchists in the LS camp.

[/ QUOTE ]

But has anyone ever claimed it to be without a government in this discussion? Nope. How many LSists have you talked to? My guess is that those who are anarchists identify--probably falsly as ACists do--as such, and not just as "libertarian socalists." Like anarcho-communists or something like it.

Cut off every ounce of productivity, fun and enjoyment in life so we can protect the extreme few in this society who should be naturally selected against? I'll pass.

[/ QUOTE ]

Who says there's no fun and enjoyment? Because I, personally, do not know how Wiis would be distributed? I've never claimed any sort of expertise on the topic.

[/ QUOTE ]

Karl Marx said it. "To each according to his needs."

No Wiis would ever be produced, nor, for that matter, would anything else that makes life worth living.

Good thing LS =/= Marxism. I only invoked that quote as something people would be familiar with.

But as we discussed earlier with the case of the village of LSists. They would produce only their base needs because there's no incentive to produce more than that.

Interesting about RevLeft...I'll have to look at that. But funny you should say: [ QUOTE ]

Anarcho-communism is a type of libertarian socialism.

[/ QUOTE ]

From wikipedia:
[ QUOTE ]
The terms anarchist communism and libertarian communism should not be considered synonyms for libertarian socialism.

I'm one of those poor confused souls who haven't yet figured out how AC provides a criminal justice system equivalent.

[/ QUOTE ]

It doesn't. It provides a mockery of justice paid for by the highest bidder. The status quo isn't perfect either, so try to not attack me by pointing out flaws in the current system.

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry, missed this post.

I'm not doing that. I'm attacking LS which you appear to be defending.

That's fine. My warning was a preemptive warning in case this thread got hijacked in the direction of criminal justice.

Dobermans are a type of dog. Dobermans should not be considered a synonym for dogs.

From wikipedia, like a whole one sentence before your quote:
[ QUOTE ]
A well-known libertarian socialist political philosophy is anarchism, with anarchist communism and anarcho-syndicalism the most active sectors.

[/ QUOTE ]

You know the best way to avoid hijacks? Not making assertions about a topic that isn't related to the current discussion.
