I just think it's amusing that Walton's stats are comparable to Divac's, and I don't think he's a threat to break into the top X of anybody's list. I was not just responding to the "best white centers" list that I quoted. The fact that Divac was comparable to Walton makes it laughable that Walton would be top 4 all-time.

I'm not supporting the statement that Walton would have been top 4 all time, but the high similarity to Divac is at ages after the injuries. The argument was that Walton would have been great if he hadn't been injured.

Bill Walton use to do Clips games I believe. This was after the NBA left NBC. The rumor is he pissed off TNT or some other network, so that was why he wasn't doing national games for a bit. he apparently had to eat crow to get on ESPN. I for one, am eternally greatful. During his stretch w/ the Clips, Snapper was doing the local stuff for the Blazers. I personally dislike Snapper. I think he is a bit or a boring moron. Right now the Blazers color guy is Mike Rice, who is almost as great as Walton.

Also, two or three years ago, Christmas game with I believe Orlando and Cleveland??? Francis vs. Lebron. 20 Mins into the game, score was like 40-39 or something, both stars going off. Walton proclaims "This is the best first 20 minutes of basketball ever played!"


Walton makes ever game fun to watch and listen to. Great commentator.
