Worry about the next hand, because EV-wise whether I call here is irrelevant. If I fold, I just make sure I take it into account next similar hand. |

Wow! Thanks for the responses. This thread started this morning since last night I had dinner with my mother, and she said she wanted the "Snow Patrol" cd for Christmas. . . but she didn't say that, she said I want the cd of this group called "snow-patrol-chasing cars". I looked them up on amazon and found a snow patrol cd with the song "chasing cars". I told her that the group was just called snow patrol, and she said (my mom is in 62) "Well that funny, I thought that, but I listened to the song and heard no mention of cars or chasing cars, so I assumed it must be part of the band name." heh. So this came about from an offshoot of me telling that story to a guy at work abotu literal song titles, etc- had no idea there were so many, esp classic rock, but thanks guys, it was fun. . .

xx44,
Baba O'Riley? "Out here in the fields ..." Mr. Wookie, Here's the thread you suggested (title is not in the lyrics) link Pearl Jam songs: Down Don't Gimme No Lip In the Moonlight Drifting Dirty Frank Bee Girl All are on the rarities/B-sides double disc, Lost Dogs. As far as I can tell, not one song from their studio albums fits the criteria, although some are close. I didn't realize this until I checked after reading this thread. Thanks glen! |

Also, people, do goofball's experiment and fill in his poll. Figuring out just what percentage of songs do this is, IMHO, more interesting than just rattling off a bunch that do.
