I wasn't planning on playing there anyways. THeir bonus sounds very hard to clear.

Pokerroom has consistently handled PR and customer service at a level few other sites manitain (Stars, for example). Keep up the good work.

this is absolutely incorrect

I don't know how you can possibly relate PokerRoom support to other well-respected customer service sites like Stars/TruePoker

Well, everytime I've seen them botch something, they've come clean and usually gave all the affected players something in exchange, whether they actually deserved it or not.

I'm done arguing this thread though, I just think everyone is being pretty immature here. Plenty of other places for everyone to play.

If it hasn't been done already, someone should post the new rake structure and its implications for lower limit games all over their Pokah community forums. Seems like many of the fish would flock there.

I'll boycott... will be pretty easy for me to do as I don't even have an account there.

For some stats that I have

With the old rake structure (11.6k hands from me) - the average rake PER POT was $0.72. The avg % of the pot that the rake was - was 3.28%

With the new rake structure, implemented yesterday morning (only 558 hands - a smaller sample size I know but still gets the gist of the picture) - the average rake PER POT was $1.08. The avg % of the pot was - 4.61%

What limit, 2/4? Also, I'm guessing avg. pot size converges pretty quickly so 558 is probably getting close to acurate. Please update if you play more.

Here's what I have for $2/$4 at Poker Room.

Old rake: 21,363 hands, 15,129 raked (70.82%), avg pot $26.94, avg rake $0.97, avg 3.59% of pot.

New rake: 900 hands, 744 raked (82.66%), avg pot $25.16, avg rake $1.20, avg 4.78% of pot.

I have to think it's no coincidence the max rake is hit at $24.
