Arizona is fairly obviously the 2nd best state.
1) climate diversity 2) geographic diversity 3) closeness to other good states/ cities (California, Las Vegas) 4) Big city, Phoenix is 5th largest in the country 5) incredibly attractive women from ASU/ U of A 6) great college town in Tempe 7) all 4 major sports teams the only state that can beat Arizona out is California (fairly obviously) and maybe new york if you don't have any problem with snow, although a ton of new york's value comes from the city, as upstate sucks.

i think this list is actually pretty good. lol @ everyone saying "omg [state i live in and have never been to others] is way underrated because we have 5 cool things about us! put us ahead of hawaii". florida is the only really overrated state imo.

Also.. South Carolina > North Carolina way way way too many rednecks in north carolina. [/ QUOTE ] LOLOLOLOLOL south carolina is, on average, WAY more rural than north carolina. charleston is nice. the rest of it blows. NC is probably the best state touching the atlantic ocean.
